Using Kids Profile

What's a Kid-Proof Exit?
The ‘Kid-Proof Exit’ feature is intended to make it harder to leave a Kids Profile with the addition of an exit challenge. The feature can be turned on under a new Parental Controls menu found in settings; (account verification required to toggle on).

What titles are included in Kids Profile?
The Kids Profile includes specially curated content drawn primarily from television titles rated TV-7FV and theatrical films rated G in the United States or equivalent ratings elsewhere. Titles with a content advisory notice related to negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures have been excluded.

You can select the Kids Profile setting for any profile attached to your Disney+ account, except for the main account holder.

Note: Local ratings and cultural sensitivities can mean that there may be some variations in the availability of specific titles when using Kids Profile in different regions.

What is the difference between a Kids Profile and a Profile set with a Content Rating?
A Kids Profile is a curated content experience with a bespoke user interface and limited feature set. Profiles set to a specific Content Rating will allow all content with that rating to be viewed. Content rated higher than a profile's Content Rating will not be shown while a user browses or searches within the Disney+ app. All Disney+ features will remain available in profiles set with Content Ratings.

How do Content Ratings work on Disney+?
Disney+ offers the ability to select a Content Rating for each profile within an account. Content rated higher than a profile’s setting will not be shown within the Disney+ app.

Changes to a profile’s Content Rating can be adjusted from the Parental Controls Menu (account verification required).
