Temporary files and data are often stored on devices to help with overall performance. Sometimes, though, cached files can get corrupted over time and lead to streaming issues.
To delete corrupted files and help with performance stability, you can clear cache and data on certain devices. Select your device below for more steps:

If your supported device is not listed, there are no steps to clearing cache and data on your device.
Android phone and tablet
- On certain Android models, you can clear Disney+ cache and data. From the home screen, go to Settings > Apps > Disney+ > Storage > select Clear Cache and Clear Data.
Android TV
- To clear Disney+ cache and data, go to Settings > Applications > Disney+ > select Clear Cache and Clear Data.
Apple TV (all generations)
- The only way to clear cached data for Disney+ on Apple TV is to uninstall or reinstall the Apple TV app.
Chromecast
- For Chromecast, follow the steps appropriate to your casting device, whether Androidor iOS.
Computer browser
- The steps for clearing cache on your browser will vary depending on which browser you’re using and its version.
Fire TV and Fire TV Stick
- Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > Disney+. Then, select both Clear Cache and Clear Data.
iPhone and iPad
- You can check how much storage the Disney+ app is using on your phone by going to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > select Disney+. To clear up space, delete and uninstall the app.
PlayStation
- To clear the Disney+ data, open the Settings menu from the top of the dashboard > select Storage > System Storage > Saved Data > highlight Disney+ and press Options > select Delete.
Xbox
From the Xbox home menu, select My Games and Apps > select Apps > highlight the Disney+ tile > press the Menu button on your controller (three parallel lines) to bring up More Options > select Manage App > clear the Saved data.
