Why am I getting Standard or High Definition (SD / HD) video instead of 4K Ultra HD?

Disney+ offers a growing library of content in 4K Ultra HD at no additional cost. Supported formats for a given title can be found in the DETAILS section under each title.

You’ll need a 4K device, TV, or display and a high-speed Internet connection (25 Mbps or higher recommended) to view content in 4K Ultra HD. Disney+ will detect the capabilities of your system and play the content if it is available in 4K Ultra HD or HDR.

For optimal performance, we recommend installing the latest firmware available for your devices.
